Christmas Cocktail White Party
Work Christmas Party – Café on the Goodwill Bridge style!
An extravagant White Party was the order of the evening for the premier Christmas party in Brisbane town.
Supremely talented body artist Kellie Macalpine applied her creative genius to metamorph our team into an angel, cupid and white devil, before transforming the bedazzled guests.
A beautiful summers night saw our guests party in style. Merry Christmas to all!
Cocktail Party - Abby's 21st Birthday
Café on the Goodwill Bridge was pleased to host a Cocktail Party to celebrate the 21st birthday of Abby Smith.
In a tribute to Abby and mother lady Sandy’s Scottish heritage, guests arrived to a live bagpiper, whilst our men sported kilts for the occasion.
Needless to say, Ian, Michael and Hayden made quite the statement!
DJ Cutloose was superb, setting the atmosphere early for what was to become an incredible party with fun and funky beats.
The beautiful cocktail dinner, moving speeches and wonderful company made for an memorable evening.
Sky High Cocktail Party
Our first "Sky High Cocktail Party" which was a resounding success.
Guests enjoyed our spectacular views, sounds of JMI's Four-piece and an eight course canapé style menu.

Cocktail Party - All That Glitters is Gold
All that Glitters is Gold! 80 guests were treated to a cocktail party like no other.
Shaken Martini’s on arrival, fresh Oyster Bar, a delectable Cheese Platter by The Cheese Pleaser and a full cocktail menu blew guests away.
Guests partied to the 80’s inspired beats by DJ Cutloose aka Trent Wildman, amongst the fairy light infused open marquee, installed dance floor and the dazzling disco ball.
Between dancing, guests were by bedazzled by the supremely talented body artist Kellie Macalpine, with an ‘All That Glitters’ inspired facial styling.
A cocktail party no one will ever forget.
Cafe on the Bridge featuring on Channel Seven's 'The Great South East'
Recently Sofie and the team from Channel Seven’s ‘The Great South East’ popped down for a coffee and to feature our café on their program.
As Sofie identified, there are only 3 cafes on bridges in the world and one of them is right here in Brisbane.

Café on the Bridge was pleased to host a Cocktail Style Reception to celebrate the combined birthdays of Claire Parvis, Karen Hanna Miller and Kellie Alderman.
80 guests enjoyed a delectable eight course cocktail dinner throughout a stunning sunset, concluding with the 2016 Australia Day Brisbane River fireworks celebrations.
Cut & Cook BBQ - Private Function
Café on the Bridge was proud to host Cut & Cook BBQ, a special blend of Food & Music, filmed in unique locations across Australia.
Presented by DJ Cutloose, live music was performed in parallel an exquisite slow and low BBQ Cook Up of Brisket, Pork Ribs, Links and Chicken. Over 120 guests enjoyed great live music, amazing food, Red Bull cocktails and a sunset view like no other.
Channel 7 - Sunrise's Lap the Map - Live Weather Broadcast
As part of the Sunrise Weather lap of the map, Edwina Bartholomew and the wonderful Channel 7 team broadcast the mornings live feed from Café on the Goodwill Bridge.
Café regulars and new guests alike hastened down to the Bridge to be apart of the action, excitement and to meet Channel 7 celebrities. A very special guest also dropped through, soon to be Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull.
I CAN I WILL - Charity Awareness launch
The charity ICANIWILL is devoted to changing the lives of children with special needs.
As part of increasing awareness and raising funds for their great work, ICANIWILL held a charity awareness event at Café on the Goodwill Bridge.
The concept is simple, yet slimy. Individuals raise money duck celebrities, politicians, community leaders or their boss in jelly.
The Brisbane Lions Tom Rockliff, Pearce Hanley and Dayne Beams and our very own Ian Dreadlocks were Jellified all in the name of a great cause.
